What are the best tankmates for a black ghost knifefish in a 125 gallon tank?

If it’s small then some tetras and barbs can work. Geophagus, acaras, dwarf cichlids etc should work. Nothing aggressive.

yeah...i read they are intermediate to advanced and i'd keep it in solo without gravel...looks cooler!

Knife fish are shy fish and need a lot of places to hide. I had 3 knifefish and they ate eyes of some smaller fishes :/ Choose the tankmates carefully
