Hello; I think the place in the video is Detroit after a search. That may explain why several people tried to help but had no effective tools on hand to do the job with.
That lady should have tried to 'stab' the dog with the broom...more effective then hitting it over the back. Also go for the eyes and throat.

Beware of fake uber

Just had an incident. Company is pushing uber hard. So I ordered one. Same car shows up I hop in no questions asked really. Then I start realizing I didn't really get any verification so I asked a few questions nothing really gets said. Well so I call the number the driver answers. I guess whomever this driver is could see my expression and punches it. After a struggle the driver pulls over and let's me out. No plates.

Be careful.
What?!
Did they plan to rob you?

I'm not sure if it was that, a credit card scam I sniffed out, or something more sinister. I wasnt waiting to find out.

I'm still trying to figure out how the car ended up the same.

We're having a similar issue. My neighbor has a pitbull, when they 1st moved in i was really concerned (kids and a small dog) i dont trust my kids alone around any dog but i was a little more vigilant with this guy. Anyway time goes on amd the dog really is a sweet heart. My kids love him and he seems to really enjoy them.

Other neighbors a few houses down have 4 or 5 of these huge ugly looking dogs called Afghans. Two of them are nasty as hell and bit someone this summer. From what we read that seems like a common trait in the breed. I have to admit when we're outside and the women is walking those things i do feel a little more comfortable when zeus (neighbors pitt) is also outside. I have no doubt he would protect my kids

Hello; I do hope you are right about this dog. However I would not ever want children around one without some capable adult around. Too many true incidents of them having a good behavior record and suddenly going after a person or other dog. I was watching Judge Judy a couple weeks ago. A young man had two pitt bulls in a back yard with a too small fence. The next door place had a much smaller poodle looking dog. Home security video showed the two pit bulls over the fence attacking the neighbors much smaller dog. The brave son who's mother owned the smaller dog went out and latterly picked up one pitt bull and threw it over the fence. Then chased the other off he was a serious dude.
Even with the video clearly showing what had happened the pitt owner tried to claim it did not happen because she did not actually see it. Judge Judy showed the video several times and made the pitt owner pay almost 5 grand. The small dog was in serious condition but was saved by a vet.

My neighbor had a pitt his family raised from a pup. One day it turned on a family member. I have seen these people around their other dogs and they are good to their dogs.

There was a story I use to have a link to about a man who had two pitts he raised from pups. When he did not show up for work and could not be contacted someone went to his home. The dogs had killed him.

A little over a year ago an elderly woman in my area was in her yard putting seed in a bird feeder. I think she was in her 60's. Two pitts from near by mauled her to death. Her husband heard her screams and can out to help. I guess it was a long lasting mauling like in the video I linked today. He was attacked. He lived because another neighbor got the dogs off him long enough for him to get a gun and kill one outright and wound the other. The second dog was chased down and killed. Maybe 15 miles from me in Arjay KY.

Good luck

Oh i totally agree. My kids are absolutely never outside alone with the pitt. As friendly as he is i could never fully trust him alone with them. The baby goes nuts for him too but hes only allowed to pet him from behind the fence as long as my wife or i am present.

One day we were outside b.s'ing and my youngest whos almost 2 reaches out from the stroller and grabs the dogs top lip and yanks on it like it was a toy. The poor dog didnt even flinch... he just looked up at my wife like " a little help please" even then my kids know the rules if hes outside they either come in or call me to watch over them.

Another time my little lap dog squeezes through the gate and rushes the pitt. He did nothing but you could tell he wouldnt have put up with it for long. Very powerful dogs.

I read a statistic that pitts arent responsible for the most attacks. BUT #1 in deaths and serious bodily injury. When they snap... they snap
