Hello; I use to know the stats and do understand they may have changed in the last few years. A study a few years ago cited that of all the fatal maulings over a number of years that Pitt types were responsible for over 50% ( MAYBE 54%). The population at that time of pitts was only 5% or slightly less of the total dog population. So 5% of all dogs were the cause of over 50% of deaths. Enough to convince me.I read a statistic that pitts arent responsible for the most attacks. BUT #1 in deaths and serious bodily injury. When they snap... they snap
