I think I've worked out what bugs me about the new smileys... They're less detailed and more childish (there's a different word that I want to use but can't think of it right now) looking than the old ones..

Idk, I'll get over it eventually. Likely quicker now that I think I've worked out what I don't like about them.. I think...

Agreed, the old ones are better IMO. The standard Xenforo ones I mean.

The wife has an attitude because a mouse managed to gnaw a hole through the bottom of the kitchen trashcan.It is one of those sturdy plastic Rubbermaid jobs and she thinks a rat must be in the house as there is no way a mere mouse could have done that!

If that's what the green cheeky grin guy and pink pokey-tonguey-outy guy were then yes, 100%. They were cuter than the new ones and looked, idk, friendlier I guess? I've just woken up (haven't finished my morning coffee yet) after a bad nights sleep so words aren't my thing right now haha

Fair enough. I use them quite a bit (if you hadn't noticed ) so it drives me nuts when I'm expecting to post a green guy with a cheeky grin and some giant yellow thing that looks like it licks windows pops up instead.. I'll get used to it, but liked the old ones more.
