And that's fair enough. My ex told the people who lived across the road from us that he was gonna kill their terrier thing if it came in our yard again, the stupid mutt would try and attack my cats while they were in their pen to the point where the cats wouldn't go in the pen for a month or so because if it, that's when my ex cracked it. Best part was the guy who owned the dog called the police and when they arrived they fined him for not keeping his dog confined.

People are idiots sometimes... :shakehead
What an idiot he ratted himself out. The stupid state i live in doesnt have leash laws.... could you imagine smh

My House!
Hello; On the same theme but different topic. Sunday afternoon I drove the 24 miles to the nearest Lowes (big box hardware store) on a good two lane highway. Speed limit is 55 mph and I was running at about 62 mph. A car came up behind me but did not pass. The car followed for several miles and did not use several straight stretches to pass.
When I get to the town limits the road becomes a four lane and the speed limit goes down to 40 mph. I slow to 45 mph and get in the right lane. The car keeps on at speed past me, around 60 in the 40 zone.
Some have already guessed it. A city police cruiser was positioned to see this and promptly pulled out and pulled the car over. Around here 15mph over the speed limit can be a big ticket depending on how the officer writes it up. Sometimes they will give a break and write it up for only 10 mph over if you cooperate and act right.
I believe mph is faster than kph correct? If so there is no way in hell a cop would let you off for that.. Depending how much of a difference there is between mph and kph they'd probably try to do you with reckless driving, especially if you weren't cooperative...

So what rights do you have if a dog attacks you or your child because its not leashed and the owner can't control it? That sounds dangerous..

Hello; I don't think in KPH so may have this wrong. I think 100 KPH is about 62 MPH. Someone correct this if wrong. I will look at the speedometer later. Both my vehicles show KPH and MPH for some years but the MPH is much bigger and I have only ever needed to think in MPH as that is how all the posted speed limits are listed.

I like to watch the bicycle races from around the world which commonly use distance in kilometers. I do know that 1 mile is 0.62 kilometers. A 5k running race is about three miles. A 10 K is about six miles.

Dog dies. I say i told you so lol

The law stated that the dog has to be under the owners control but isnt required to use a leash. I have no idea who came up with this...smh

Hello; The last dog I had was well trained and would obey just about all the time. I guess being able to order a dog around is what this means. My dog did not obey 100% of the time so I had him on a lead when out and about.

This is how stupid this is getting. After the last run in with her. I called the cops. Cops explains the leash law. When i told him i was aware and know there is nothing he can do BUT need him to file the report anyway because when i end up killing the dog i want there to be a paper trail showing that i tried to resolve this peacefully.... he smiled and said smart move

Same experience with our old bulldog. Totally obedient off the leash as long as we weren't near our home. Off the leash near our home he couldnt be trusted and was too territorial.

Yup. Because there wasnt an actual crime i couldnt obtain a copy was but was given the report #
The women is batshit crazy. Last night the HOA people met with her and she's insisting that the rules state her dog is allowed to be on another home owners property as long as she removes it. She gonna get this dog killed and the sad thing its the owner not the dog thats crearing the issue

That's usually the case....the owner causes the problem and someone else's hand is forced.
