RIP big gold severum

I've had him from 6-7 years, he was a year or two old when I got him.

His real name is Big G*y *sshole, because him and my male red spotted severum have been trying to breed for years, taking over the tank, attacking all the other fish, and he decided to start biting me recently. His color has been off and he's been hiding for the last few days.

At least this means the tank will probably be a lot more peaceful and it could do with the drop in bioload.

I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. I'd expect it to be a lot longer, slower decline than just suddenly looking bad for a day or two and then dead.

Its always sad losing a prized fish. On the bright side, a trip to the LFS usually follows. A new fish pick up and the process starts again. Hang in there.
