Predator Aquascape tanks anyone?

What kind of predator? Is it a large cichlid like a red devil or is it something a bit smaller like a pike cichlid or jack dempsey

I'm thinking community predator tank fish I already had in the past actually just in a aquascape show tank. Gars , Zebrina pike , Tigrinus catfish , Ray's , fire eel . maybe a few more lol.

Ok that'll limit what your aquascape can be, there'll have to be plenty of room for the fish to move around and you would probably want to have smaller decorations that the fish cannot hurt themselves on

@mrrobxc you think you can send me a video of what he is talking about?
It’s in my signature. There’s a thread link you should be able to see if you click my profile.

Here’s a couple recent videos showing tank and scape.

Here’s a naked scape view before I added plants.

I kind of had a predator planted tank with Lima cats. You can see it in the photo lounge. The fish preferred open bottom swimming areas so they decided where the plants would grow. Anything in their way got thrashed. If you are planting root feeders, plant around hardscape. I'd recommend swords, giant val and crypts.
