Hello; casually mention when the short people are around that we all be even shorter as we get older. I was a bit over 5' 10" for most of my adult life. I am now not quite 5' 9". I was not happy about this but do not need others to feel bad about it.Short shaming...
I actually had a meeting with hr. When I buy a snack I'll put it in the very top on the cabinet go do something then get it when I get back. Apparently that's offensive to short folks.
I told them if people wouldn't steal food I'd leave it out and its not their food so what does it matter where I put it. So why I'm here how about the new badge I've been asking for weeks about?
I'm 6'4 I was told to be more sensitive to my co-workers under 6'-0". Don't drink alcohol when taking tide pods
I came to terms with my adult height in my early 20's. We each get dealt a genetic phenotype and there is not much we can do about it. I guess we can maximize our potential with proper diet and exercise but not by much. Some folks win the genetic lottery and get most of the more desireable traits. Most of us get average stuff. Some get a combination of the bad traits.
I forget the name of the book by Kurt Vonnegut (sp) some decades ago. his imagined society forced everyone to be average. If you had excellent vision you had to wear corrective lenses not to improve vision but to distort our good vision down to the "average". They were called handicaps I believe. If you were healthy and fit you had to wear weights to be like most folks. I guess this means these ridiculous notions have been around for some time but now have started to become mainstream.
Get a pair of lift shoes to increase your natural height. Rains your desk up a few inches and the office chair. Post notices on the bulletin board way up high.
