There is a heated debate taking place over on another forum that I'm a member on.Its actually been going on for a few days now ,the topic is a "straight pride" parade and as one can imagine it has splintered off into different sub topics and arguments to include such subjects as Catholic priests,transexual story tellers in public shools and libraries and pedophilia.
Although there has been very little name callling and personal attacks throughout the thread I am surprised it has gone on for as long as it has without being locked.There is no way that it would have lasted as long here before a mod locked or deleted it lol.

Hello; So I guess the parade is/was to be about pride for being what I have considered "normal" for over seventy years. Let me guess somehow this is going to be controversial?
Funny stuff. Not even a few hours ago I was talking to a buddy about seeing three "rainbow flags" on a street on the way home and I told him I'm gonna invent a "Heterosexual flag" so we can be proud as well. My flag will just be one color background, but will have a full color picture of Sofia Vargas in a bikini 
Yep,well kind of as it appeared that some people who are of the alternative lifestyle persuasion took a bit of offense to the idea....yet it is perfectly okay for them to have their shenanigan display.

I thought that only two particular flags were allowed to be displayed at such buildings and that aint one of them!
Hello; Yeah I thought state gov houses were to fly the national and state flags and not some radical stuff.
I had a *** neighbour a while back, he was late 40s and I was late 20s. He was a cool guy, he had a few slight *** mannerisms but you wouldn't pick him as a stereotypical *** man at all. This was back in the mid 2000s, he was open about it but it wasn't a big thing that defined him. I can't remember his exact words but it was some thing like"I'm not proud or ashamed of being ***, it's just how i am" it was a really cool attitude and he was accepted by everyone because of it.he was a baker so used to give me And my mates lots of pizzas and cakes that were leftover on the weekend which helped too, at the start he thought we wouldn't eat them because they were made by a ***! If more people with non mainstream ways had this attitude everyone would get along a lot better.
What's the other forum having this conversation? If it's a more political based one I could understand it being allowed to go on longer. Also the lack of tantrums and name calling may have something to do with it too. Things have been getting a bit out of hand here during the argument topics lateLy.
