Stray voltage causing issues in tanks!

Yep as Neil says that a ground probe; yesterday I ordered 3 which should arrive tomorrow.
I went to KCHS ages ago bro, 81-85, and before that 2 years at KJHS. Lot's of good memories being on X-Country, track and basketball teams, not to mention flying to and from school on my RM125, me and buddies getting major air on the trail/gullies/driveways along the Spur Hwy. I don't miss the cold but I miss Alaska.
Yeah I saw you mention that before on some thread and I thought it's pretty cool I could kind of connect even electronically with a fellow fish keeper from such a relatively small place (that I still dearly love). Looking at current pix of the school at least on the outside it looks pretty much the same -- what subject(s) do you teach?

I did get a minor shock--VERY minor--today, servicing the outdoor sump.
I touched a wet hose on a very old Aqueon50 powerhead, and I had a tiny cut on my cuticle.
AND, I splashed water on my foot.
This tank is outdoors and sits on an ungrounded steel stand.
I think it's time for another survey of stray voltage.

Does size matter with grounding probes?
All of the LFS and my Bangkok-based online shops here didn't have a clue what a ground probe was, had never heard of them. However one shop (that also sells SW accessories, kind of rare here), did have some, but without the proper male plug on the end. I ordered 3 thinking I could take to electric shop and they could put on a male plug.
The probes came today but I was surprised by how small they are -- like for a nano tank or something -- are these too small for bigger tanks like 325 or 375's or are they ok? Not only are the titanium probes small but the black connecting wires also seem smaller compared to pix of other ground probes I see online.

Also just to confirm: the grounding probe plugs can be put into power bar strips plugged into grounded outlets, right? Or do the probes need to be plugged directly into the outlet?
Personally I would just order the ones online. lol
You can plug into power bar, that circuit will be protected by the GFCI in the wall, as will everything else downstream on that circuit.
BTW - if you take a look at the grounding probes online that you posted, they are a single wire, that go to the ground - not two wires, such as the ones that you bought. I have no idea what those are, but they do not look like they were made to use as grounding probes.
