Stray voltage causing issues in tanks!

GFCI power strips with grounding probe in each tank. Stray voltage causes GFCI to trip, and through process of elimination I find the source, and replace it. Found a few bad heaters over the years, and saved me from becoming the path of
least resistance.

electricity in tank, how to test for it?

I think there is a small electrical build up in my fish tank. I think I got a shock when putting my fingers in the tank yesterday. How do you test for this, my roommate doesn't agree, my brother does. I have an multi-meter.

I have gfci plugs on all my tanks as well
