J jaws7777 I don't want to say anything about how it ended just in case someone else is watching and hasen't seen that yet. But did you and the wife watch it all the way past the credits? I always hate when they do this but after about 3 minutes of credits it came back on for about 2 minutes and it actually changed the way it ended.

Not sure if you saw it but after the credits it came back on and it showed two Russian guards in a prison going to get a prisoner out of his cell to take down to a room and feed to a demegorgon. When the one guard started to open the first cell the other guard said "No, not the American". The only American that is not accounted for was Hopper so they are hinting that Hopper actually did not die
