Both of my Fluval 406's have ceramic rings in them as does my 3 AC-110's and one of my Sun Sun HW-303B filters. My other 2 Sun Sun HW-303B's have Seachem Matrix in them. With regular maintenance all of my tanks are sparkling clean and the parameters are right where they're supposed to be.
Do you have a link to the ceramic rings? How much do I need to fill on AC110?

I'm not sure. Should I? Basically looking for what all I would need to fill one and have it setup.

Yes I highly recommend using the sponge. If you don't use the Carbon or Biomax. You could probably add about 2 portions of ceramic rings. Use the mesh bag that was meant for the Biomax.

I have the sponge and Biomax both in mine so that it's both mechanical and biological.

I also have it in one my Aquaclear Filters but he wants to use ceramic rings. I have Biomax and Ceramic in one different aquarium.

Do you have a link to some good ceramic rings? And how much is 2 portions? 2 bags each AC110?
Don't have any links. About the same amount of 1 portion of the Biomax that comes with the filter. Double the amount if you choose not to use the Activated Charcoal.
