Tail colour, scales, crossing on top, different factors.. This one is an XB, unsure if it is golden crossback until it gets older, but it has damage to its lower scales and fins as a comm defect probably, its a grade b/c on the scales, with top level not being the best.
You can read more about them and gather more information there is a lot to learn

Thanks. I only notice damage on fin but not on lower scale. I think it was because it was in the same tank with 1 more aro bigger than him and was attacked. Do you think damage on scale will get healed?

Scales can get better and heal up perfecly fine. All that matters is that you are happy with it. Im seeing all this grading of fish more frequently and it gets me pissed of that someone grades your fish. It all comes down to if you fancy it or not. Ive got some fish that some people would call low grade because of eastethics and damages healing badly. But who the hell cares about that if you are happy with the fish.

Not much more to say.
The fins and the scales will heal with time.
The shine level and colour will get better with age.
Its not easy to say how he will look in 2-3 years.
I also dont give anything on grading.
Nobody knows how the fish will develope.
You have to like it.
