Now THIS is a monster cichla addition. Picked up this beautiful 16”-17” Azul Saturday and, although he beat himself up a bit on the journey, he’s adjusting great and leading everyone else in the tank. It’s insane how much he absolutely dwarfs my other 7”-11” bass. You could probably fit all my other bass together and they’d still be lighter than he is. Can’t wait to fatten him up even more, the previous owner definitely did an amazing job raising him. Never seen a two toned tail like his either, depending on the light hitting it he goes from orange to blue. Don’t judge my background, my red tail learned he can wedge himself behind it when the lights on so it’s a struggle keeping it up right now Haha
