A pair of ~10" banded leporinus in 4500 gal

Had to pull them out of 4500 gal because silver aros went in. So now they have been in a 240 gal for several months:

Yearly update.

Nov 2019:

Joe Dante of Ft. Myers, FL, donated three more adult banded leporinus, ~10"-12", to us and all five now have been doing well after the initial intro and figuring out the pecking order. It is most clear to me that their 240 gal is too small for them, as these lightning fast fish swim little and cautiously and often just hover in one spot. I've made it a point in the future to join two or four of the neighboring 240 gal tanks on that stand to make one big tank, 600 gal or 1200 gal, for the jerks.

Nice looking setup(s) you have there.

The 5-pack has been doing well, getting by in their 240 gal and waiting for their bigger home in some distant future. They have good appetite and are eager to feed every time. I don't think they quarrel between themselves anymore. If they grow, it'd be unnoticeable to me.
