Its been a few months since my last Upadate on the 55 gallon. First things first upgraded the lights to a finnex planted+ 24/7 (not using 24/7 to lazy to setup). Added scarlet temple into the tank along with a anubis. Plecos are breeding like crazy and i need to and otto cats into help the 3 SAE with the algae growth along with shrimp. Snails are coming back after i overdosed excel without realizing it would wipe them out and kill my val. Still wondering if Thrive C is the best option or regular due to the shrimp and high nitrate (pirahna and other things making a mess all the time) plus it has carbon in it that isn't glut based they say but not sure. Since the lightning has be upgraded i only really have to worry about the nutrition of the plants(and algae)now flourish did its job in the past but its not doing it anymore. If anybody lives in PA and has Amazon frogbit and java moss let me know can't find it currently. But other than that things have been great lately next goal is getting the 120 for JAWS and then i don't know what im going to do when thats setup.
