Sorry I keep remembering something else. It was difficult to see clearly in the mblue, but it looked like the one with the hole got some whitish lips before she died. Maybe trouble eating, but not really spitting, just like the mouth was sore. The last angel to pass had that as well. The one with the hole stopped eating in the end and became a bit bloated before I used clove. The others were concave.

Sorry for your loss....that is a terrible way to lose fish. I’ve also had it happen in the past but never found a solution.

Yea years ago, my fish had random holes and died...I never found out what happened to them and I was unable to save them.
Wow that is interesting. I have never seen this. Thanks for sharing your experience even though not a nice one and the condolences. Sorry for your issue with the holes as well.
Can I ask if any angels made it through that? Did you do anything to treat it? Pretty hard to treat when you don't know what you are dealing with....
I didn’t treat with anything at the time, it was close to 10 years ago and I wasn’t very fish knowledgeable at the time. The holes looked exactly like yours though...little flesh wounds that looked like raw skin.

Thanks! I'm thinking I will shop locally and try to breed pinoy myself. That was my original plan but never got close enough. So tried to cheat and order them in haha. Joke's on me
