So...You want to get a gulper catfish...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh yeah? luckily when I get my Cory and pleco breeding tanks up soon I’ll be able to afford stuff like that

This thread went from a generic like-all-the-rest care sheet, to members giving support and encouragement on how to make it better, to the OP taking that advice, and finishing off with a hand feeding vid of a little gulper.

Great job on hand feeding him kolton, very cute and a hoot to watch. Much more enjoyable than watching a health animal get torn apart.

It really has! I love the people on this forum! Thanks for the support, I can’t wait to TRY and breed them maybe next summer, but in the mean time I have to enjoy this guy (which I do very much)

I got that like 2 years ago? never really notice it anymore, I wanna get a gulper painting above the gulper tank maybe I’ll take it down then!

Nice setup.
here is a new one on this fish site for me.
try to find some details of the plant in your filter.
to me it looks like dieffenbechia - if it is, work out how it grows etc.
the sap of dieffenbechia can be poisonous. Only if you eat it though and I can't see you or your fish eating it, so all should be ok, and that's only IF that is what the plant actually is.
just something to look into.

Interesting fact about dumb and, it got its name because slave owners would put it in the mouths of slaves causing them to temporarily go mute or “dumb”. I have some as well, lovely plant, just can’t let animals get to it.
