I just got a clown knife, can he stay with this 10" gator gar?

The Gator Gar hasn't touched the Kissing Gourami so hopefully it won't bother the Clown Loach.

If you can take a closer look in the 1st and 2nd picture, you can see the teeth marks of the gar.

id be careful, watch for aggression between the 2. I've kept I think 2 or 3 knife fish and they where the weakest things ever and so fragile and they where so weak I had to save them from the filter

In that case I’d really be cautious and separate. Atleast make sure the gar isn’t hungry ever.

A healthy Clown Knife fish is not fragile at all.

Yes I have personally seen a few sick Clown Knives in my day and lfs would make the situation worse by feeding bad feeders.
