You suggest 20mm because 15mm won't hold or it will bend? Or just to be sure about the tank?
Here in Greece its easier to find 5/8'' than 1/2. thats why i ask if it will be ok because all guides says 1/2'' for my height and i went a little up from there.
Should i go for pin or capillary method? is pin method stronger than capillary or they are the same? i wont have any help so i will do it alone
Pin method for aquariums. Always. Period. No exceptions. Anyone that says otherwise has not made large aquariums or had to deal with the long-term reliability.
So the brace must be 20mm too right? The order of bonding is the front panel to the bottom one then the 2 sides, after the back panel and last the brace. is that correct? is there any safer and easier way? i need clamps to bond them or the weight of the panels is enough?
That is not the recommended order. Front and back to sides, then that assembly to bottom, then that assembly to top. You should do some reading: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/acrylic-fabrication-q-a.224773/ It is lengthy but very very useful and important.
Thank you very much i will read it and i will come back. with a quick scope i see he also recommends 1/2''(12mm) thinkness for my height but i will read it all.
