Hello, is this flowerhorn male or female?

How big is it? Only way to tell 100% is venting.
I haven’t heard about females having a black mark on flowerhorns, but others would probably know better.
Big kok does seem male, but females can get that too.

it has a big kok, but also has that black mark on the top fin ( someone said that this is an indicator of female).
so I'm a bit confused, anyone can help ? :):):)
The Kok isn't exactly a gender specific trait and neither is the black mark in the dorsal fin. Males and females alike can have these traits. It just that the black spot mostly appears on females while a big kok usually appears on most males. Only way to know for 100% certainty is to vent like Deadeye said. It's a pretty quick and easy process to do. Just take the fish out of the tank with a net, flip it upside down and then compare the 2 holes. If the vent is bigger then the anus it's a female, but if it's the same size or smaller then the anus it's a male. Also this generally works only for FH's that are already 4in+, any smaller and ya have to use a magnifying glass just to see em. Here's a pic to show what to look for when venting.

my FH is about 3.5 inch right now. I'm kinda new in this hobby so not really familiar with FH traits, Honestly I'm just curious cuz it's still cute whether it's a male or female ?. Also, do you know what breed is this?

Hump is sexual dimorphism but it is possibles that females would have larger hump. It's more like height in humans, males are generally taller and females are shorter, big emphasis on generally. Dot is not a guarantee as well.

Vent is the better way. Or if it lays eggs then it's a female.

I highly doubt it's a female though, if I had to make a guess just from pictures.

Most definitely female considering that it's anus is far smaller then the vent is and that it's papilla is shaped much like a volcano.
