Some pics of the bigger orinos. These are about 14 inches, thick and full-bodied and full-bellied

Will bust out the DSLR for better shots when the Fogos heal up more. They're getting there. Slowly but surely. Doing twice a week 1500G water changes to maintain high quality clean water.

That is a lot of water to change in a week. Do you have a drip, or back flush or something? I assume 750 each time?

Attaching a FTS, but the overflow is cut off. Circled in red on the left. Overflow from the sump goes from the garage into the garden outside.

I have a hose that is stationed in the far right chamber attached to a water source.

I have an in-line carbon filter connected to an in-line analog water meter.

Basically I just turn on the faucet and let it run for about 18 hours and that gets me 1500g of new water into the tank.

So a total of 3K gallons of water changes a week. That's just for now while those Fogos are clearing up their bruises and torn fins :)

Eventually I'll go back to once a week changes.

They are spoiled from all the good clean water.

My water bill ain't cheap lol

Old FTS pic; that niger cat tucked into the right corner is gone now. Sold yesterday to a nice member of the MFK community for a good deal IMO. $75 for a 15 incher. Glad it has a good home.

Some pre-feed pics.

Fogos still got a way to go before healing up all the way but getting there

Thought I'd have no excitement for the day but the aro jumped out of the water when the pellets hit the tank :wall:

Lost some scales, has some bruises, should heal up fine, but annoying :thumbsdow
