I hadn’t even seen that one.
Reviews were good enough for the new suicide squad so I figured I’d give it a chance. Can’t say I liked it…but an improvement from the first…I guess a few good scenes is better than none lol.
It's called Birds of Prey....and the second SS just had too much cartoonish crap going on for my liking.

The new one was definitely better than the first one…that one sucked.
Yeah, been a long time since I watched the first Suicide Squad. All I remember is it was just trying too hard to try and be a bunch of badass, just ended up being totally...

The second one though, that took itself far less seriously, it was actually funny and entertaining.

I didnt care for either of the Suicide Squad movies and I felt that the second one really blew chunks....now,that cable tv Harley Quinn movie was pretty good.
Yeah. That one was the best. The concept of the 3rd one was just downright weird.

I watched the first Venom yesterday. It wasn’t great.

I was pleasantly surprised with venom. Thought it would be terrible but I actually enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn’t nearly as good as spider-man 1 (best Spider-Man), but it was better than amazing spider man 2…or Spider-man 3…

Venom was a disappointment,it wasnt dark enough to suit the character for my tastes.....for various reasons I am actually tapped out with the cartoon movies at this point.I havent even watched a lot of the recent offerings that have been released and I don't watch none of the tv stuff.

I thought venom was crap. I started watching it and then turned it off. I put Deadpool on instead for the umpteenth time. Deadpool is funny. The scene on the couch when he is growing his legs back is one of the funniest scenes I've ever saw in any film. When he starts walking and then squeezes out a squeaky little fart from his baby butt cheeks just had me rolling around on the floor, lol. I know, I know, i'm 53 but in my head I'm still a child, lol.

I like a good war film and over the past few weeks have been revisiting some of the old classics. "Saving private Ryan" is one of my faves amongst others like "hacksaw ridge", "platoon", "black hawk down" and "the thin red line".

A couple of others I stumbled upon lately are "fury" with Brad Pitt, and "12 strong" with Mark Wahlberg. Both utterly brilliant.

And of course series like "band of brothers" and "the Pacific" are also great.
