Upcoming Movies and TV shows

I like a good war film and over the past few weeks have been revisiting some of the old classics. "Saving private Ryan" is one of my faves amongst others like "hacksaw ridge", "platoon", "black hawk down" and "the thin red line".

A couple of others I stumbled upon lately are "fury" with Brad Pitt, and "12 strong" with Mark Wahlberg. Both utterly brilliant.

And of course series like "band of brothers" and "the Pacific" are also great.

I've seen that. The ones I quoted in my post are just a brief selection off the top of my head, I could add dozens of others that I've watched over the years.

I think Hacksaw Ridge is possibly my favourite due to it being a true story. Of course there are others based on true stories too, such as black hawk down and 12 strong. No doubt there are ones that have escaped me and I haven't seen yet.

I was pleasantly surprised with venom. Thought it would be terrible but I actually enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn’t nearly as good as spider-man 1 (best Spider-Man), but it was better than amazing spider man 2…or Spider-man 3…

Well I just learned that the second Venom movie drops next month lol.

Has anyone seen the chucky/childs play series that is starting in October? I'm a huge horror fan, so I'm going to give it a chance. The only major problem I see right now is that it's on the sci-fi channel and chucky is too foul mouthed to be on basic cable.

Also I'm not a superhero movie fan, but I didn't think venom was that bad.

Just flicking through channels earlier and came across the latest season of "billions", season 5. What a pleasant surprise, I've been waiting ages for the latest season, I love this show. Anyone else a billions fan?

Foul mouthed?....it seems that they are pushing the envelope farther and farther with the colorful language on television.I personally don't like it but the way that they let fly with the curse words on the wrestling show on TNT makes them come off like a R rated movie.....as for Chucky,I am a horror movie fan too but I've never liked the character or his films so I probably wont be checking out the TV show.

I was pretty fond of fleabag, if you enjoy British humour this is a must see. After life was pretty good as well.

I enjoyed Lost at first, but it started to get really far out silly for me. It went from gripping to almost unwatchable.

I was pretty fond of fleabag, if you enjoy British humour this is a must see. After life was pretty good as well.

After life is brilliant, but then again I love anything with Ricky Gervais in. Have you ever watched "extras" by him? It's quite old now but I keep revisiting it. I've yet to see fleabag but I've heard good things about it.
