Right now he still mainly eats new life spectrum algae pellets. I’ve also been giving him tilapia twice a week, and he just ate frozen peas for the first time.
Mango is still going strong and has gotten huge. At least 18in now he’ll be going in my 500 gallon tank soon.
Mango is finally at a nice size and more interactive every day.

I grew up in Sherwood, right near the Brisbane River. My grandparents had a house right on the bank of the river in Graceville. When I was young, my oldest brother used to fish for these guys using earthworms. Catch and release of course, but I don't think you're even allowed to target them for catch & release fishing nowadays.
