Help identifying

They were sold as snow white parrot fish.
Can anyone confirm?

Correct - they are the fish sold under the common name “platinum parrot.”
In reality they are just short-bodied convict cichlids.

True except the ones usually sold under polar blue or platinum parrot are hrp or have mostly hrp blood. These look like actual shortbody nigrofasciata/convict and they don't have so much of the exaggerated parrot shape so I wouldn't call these platinum parrot. Rather just shortbody pink convict. Regardless, these guys (looks like all males) are a really nice find especially if your really into convict species like me. Good looking genetics. I especially like this male.
