ID on this bush fish?

Some sort of Ctenopoma I assume? He has been at my LFS for four months, without much size change so either a small species or extremely slow growing. I took him home for my congo tank either way. Not a fussy fish thus far, but would like to know what he actually is. I can try to take better pictures if these don't do it.

Looks like ctenopoma muriei
I think this is the closest thing. There are barely any pictures of this species online for me to compare him to.


Anything I should know about this species? Seems like a unproblematic species to keep according to seriouslyfish.

One of if not the smallest ctenopoma. Like most will not want too much water flow, will prefer darker, quieter, overgrown, basically the opposite of your Congo tetras!
