At what size should the blue in the eyes be obvious? I am just not 100% convinced my blue eye lemon bushynose are truly that. Thank you

Not my area at all but I tried to look around for an answer but couldn't find one. My only info is based on pics I saw online which seems to suggest they have it as juveniles. I myself don't really see much blue but I see that the eyes aren't the typical red or pink associated with Albinos, which is the only indicator I see. I wish I could be more help and I'd like to say it's great to see you

Anything from around 1” really. It’s more obvious in larger fish but perfectly clear at 2”.
Currently have seven breeding pairs of these, magical fish.
You can tell the blue eyed lemons quite clearly from albino bristlenose by the colour of the body more than the eyes, although you can now get lemon bristlenose which won’t have the blue eyes.

I can tell within a few weeks of hatching.
If you look close enough you will see either red, blue, or black eyes. You have to have a good eye though
Can you post a photo from above, or one with the fish in focus instead of the glass please to make sure.
