Unfortunately the 8.5" platinum died. Found it upside down one day. Just got this big girl left. Still at 11"

Sorry dude . Losing a fish of this type is definitely a loss. I kept one few years back and was a beautiful fish but unfortunately didn't survive. Do have one ansorgii and a congicus going strong.
See that you have a full aquarium with polys, if don't mind please share your filtration setup. The bigger they get more messy the water parameters get

I measured her about 11.5” the other week. Growth has drastically slowed down. Hopefully she’ll squeeze in another .25 or .5 inch by end of the year.
