I’m sure young Alex could interview you over zoom or Microsoft teams and put it all together on his channel. WOLF2013 does work hard but doesn’t seem to get many views. A 20 minute chat withyou or duanes for example that any member could listen to in the car way to work would be agood way to boost his views I imagine.

I'm flattered you should mention me in the same sentence as Duanes! His life story on his humble beginnings in the US to his current Robinson Crusoe status on a tropical island would indeed be worth a listen.

My story? Maybe not so much, lol. He's probably forgot more than I'll ever know about the hobby. I'm not a member of any UK based forums, I certainly don't partake in "meets", if indeed they even exist in the UK! I don't subscribe to any UK magazines/news letters. In short, the UK aquaria "scene" is completely alien to me.

All that interests me is looking after the fish that I have to the best of my ability, and coming on here chewing the fat with you guys, nothing else in the hobby really matters to me.

That’s a very good guest to get to n your show. I will scan through and listen to that part.
A suggestion would be if you have someone like that willing to talk then maybe have it as a stand-alone episode, not many people have nearlY 2 hours to watch a YouTube episode.
Have you thought about approaching anyone on this site for interviews? You have experts on cichlids , rays and loaches among other things. You also have people from all around the world., I would be interested if n hearing about the fishkeeping scene in india or Dubai for example. I’d be more likely to tune into esxluciois talking about British aquarium life and probably others here would listen out of curiosity.

I'd love to be of assistance my friend, but with my computer knowledge/skillset you'll be waiting a long long long time before I could do anything remotely close to what WOLF2013 is doing.

As an aside, I truly admire wolf2013 for the work he puts into his channel, it can't be easy and must be very time consuming.

Thank you sir. It does take a while but it isn't really work it's fun and kind of like a hobby. I use canva to create the cool videos and images and basic wordpad for scripts. But I only use scripts for informal shows the other shows and interviews I just wing it.
If you were interested, we can do a zoom interview or I could interview you in my studio through streamyard you would just need acess to wifi and a webcam or you can use your smart phone.

Yes zoom is perfect or streamyard too.
You are right. A few years ago I had no problem getting hundreds and thousands of views but over time it dropped. Sometimes I'll get 500 views or 200 views but it depends. But I do have a loyal audience with people who watch every video and contact me giving me their thoughts. I really appreciate that. If having loyal fans means a small percentage of views I'm ok with that. But, I do think having new guests and fish topics will draw more viewers.

Hello; Here is a question. Has this member WOLF2013 been posting on this forum about fish/aquariums as a regular member before he began using the site for advertising his program?
First I recognized him on this site was when he began to load this thread with ads for his Program (maybe called a blog). If using us as an avenue to advertise is his only activity, such is questionable in my mind. A new neighbor has set up a studio in his home. I used my pickup to help him get some equipment. He is a pediatrician (baby doctor) and is making videos about early child care. He told me that if sh gets enough followers his blog can make money. I figgured WOLF2013 is trying to increase followers/viewers for similar reasons.

That said an interview with a long standing forum member with knowledge would be of interest.

Yes you are correct. I have been on here for a while just haven't posted much. I do share photos of my fish from time to time and ask for advice and any help etc.
I do understand sklj47 point though. There are people that join groups and what not just to promote and promote. I'm here to promote yes but I also contribute and help when I can on fish threads etc.

I didn't have you down as a social media type of guy Jeff. What makes it attractive to you now Musk has taken over? Personally I don't care who takes over at twitter, it doesn't interest me one iota, and it never will.
