Here is a salamander I photo captured earlier today....little bugger was underneath a pile of leaves practically right outside my door.
Very nice! Looks like a Red-backed Salamander? They were very common on my property when I lived in Ontario; sadly don't extend as far northwest as I now live in Manitoba...one of the many species of reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids, etc. that I miss seeing up here.
Where on earth is Datnoid Island? Between the Red-backs and the DeKay's, I am starting to think that you are not in the Indomalayan region as I had assumed...

I live in South Florida (WPB area) and we have snakes and iguanas here. I've seen a few burumese pythons and giant iguanas both of which are considered highly invasive. We are encouraged to kill if we see them entering our property or to call fish and wild life. I respect animal life too much to simply just kill because irresponsible owners released them. luckily the people I was with that saw the snake and iguana were not florida residents and didn't know they were invasive here and I never brought it to their attention so we let the snake slither away the thing was huge too and had a bulging stomach so it either ate something large or was a pregnant female.
