Awesome! Is "he" starting to get some reddish color or is that just the lighting? How big is it?

Thanks, looking forward to seeing updates as he grows! How big of a tank is he in?
doing a lot of moving around as of now, went from a 75 to temporarily in a 40b and will be moving into a 150 in a few weeks.
Update: Everything is going smoothly, I've had to isolate the fish as it has developed quite the attitude. I am attributing this to its time being kept in a smaller tank rather than denoting this species as 'aggressive'. This seems to be pretty typical with Osphronemus who ime develop unique personalities depending on environment and the methods used to raise them.
I have been feeding quite a bit of the Repashy 'Red Rum' in hopes of bringing out the potential red coloration in this fish. I will definitely upload more photos by the end of the month.

I got one from Global about a week ago. From reading on the internet, the pattern can change similar to a tigrinus.
