(Not sure if it would be considered rare but it’s a new species) Read the other day about a new described species of Oscar, astronotus mikolji. Anyone keeping this fish currently or know much about them?

There’s probably people with them, but they just don’t know, probably not pure, mixed with oscars. Mikolji is a nice fish, I’d love to get one down here in AUS

Should have specified but I meant if anyone on MFK is keeping a Mikolji. I just found out about them the other night

I have plenty of rare fishes but mostly because they're rarely exported species. Not because they're rare in the wild.

These 2 are the most rarest fish I have in my collection. These are rare in the wild & never have been exported out of Thailand.

Both are undescribed species of Mahseer from Salween, endemic to Thai-Myanmar border region only. But 1 of them currently being studied.
