It was a cool scene except the management was a joke. they brought in a lady with tattoos all over here body as the store manager/director. she could manage hot topic but not a family friendly zoo. she was a complete blonde bimbo excuse my language. but kharma is a ***** they say and I'm sure it will get her.
I have briefly worked alongside my mom's friend in his family owned restaurant. that was around for generations I loved it. at 18 I worked with the grandfather... then at 20 his father took over. in 2020, however his restaurant tanked when pedophila allegations came about and I decided to persue something else. A lot of people who I've cooked for are trying to encourage me to get back into it proffesionally but it is a very demanding position as you litterally have no life outside of waking up early to prep, then cook for lunch and dinner, and then go home and go to bed just to repeat. I got burnt out quickly. However, that being said I would think that I would enjoy tv show cooking or even a catering business.
The pedophila allegations turned out to be very exaggrated as the parents manipulated the daughter into saying a hug turned sexual. Why a 49 year old man found it reasonable and approroriate to hug a 14 year old? I don't know but that's certainly not a sexual act unless it happended more than once. but for the hug I seen that I had to speak with police about it was a brief hug and a goodbye nothing sexual. so i firmly believe this was the dad's way of getting revenge for being fired for coming to work intoxicated and not being able to provide for family. i digress. so the allegations in turn kind of affected me but not really in a bad way. it led me to finding retail, and youtube so not really mad about it.
