The Asian arowana is illegal in all of the states...as for Commiefornia,there are quite a few fish that are illegal to keep there.There is a sticky around here somewhere that lists which fish are banned in particular states.

Go to the “general aquaria” section of the forum. There is a sticky about restricted species. Click on the link…find your state… you may need to find an updated list also. Much more than just asian aros…
