Ya know, Ulu Ulu , I'm looking at that pic and it just seems vaguely familiar to me.

The shaggy beard...the high-gloss dome...the bib overalls...the combination of cheapness and stubbornness that convinces you to do stuff like that yourself, in the firm belief that "If you want something done right..."...:headbang2

Hmmm...don't tell me...I'll figure it out! :)

I don't believe I've ever seen a wheelbarrow like the one that Ulu Ulu is using. I'm referring to the wooden handles, usually metal is used throughout the design.

Do I detect a hint of design interference by our resident tinkerer? Have you indeed taken the metal handles off it and replaced them with those wooden ones? Lol.

I have three real wheelbarrows + plus one of those little Barbie-size garden models that my wife seems to enjoy using. "Mine" all have wooden handles, just like the majority that I see for sale; "hers" is all plastic, which is okay because it doesn't do anything that remotely resembles real work. :)

Real wood is just so much nicer to use and hold; I'm sure I could find an all-steel model if I looked, but I wouldn't consider it an upgrade. Sounds like something you'd buy from IKEA. :)

I decided to build another little stove, for my own amusement, and for TIG practice on unusual surfaces.

So far I’m just cutting, and no welding yet, but probably today.

The wind is almost gone and it has blown the boatyard 100% dry.

A while back I bought three new Oscar fish for my largest aquarium, and I’m sure I have a breeding pair and one runt. This is a pic of the pair.

I had to put the runt in a separate tank to keep him from being chewed up and spit out by his tankmates. He looks the same as the pair in my photo, but he is about 1/5 the mass of the largest fish, yet these 3 were all born at the same time.
