a bottomless pit.
I recently acquired a little bichir, and have been thinking about getting other fish, but that has led me to a question : What IS a good minimum, there has to be some set dimension of size where it can be swallowed and not (at least for a specific species at specific size), like, we know that it's not just length but height, since things are khuli loaches sometimes get noshed by bichirs anyways. I am mostly thinking about this in terms of stuff like Dwarf Pikes or Upside Down Catfish, smaller fish that have a long but not stick like shape to them, how safe would they be? For the purposes or consistency, I think it's best to first examine the Upside Down Syno.

It’s pretty much impossible to make that call without knowing the species. Big enough to live with a sen would be a snack for an endli.

Well for me I have a polli, but I'm mostly speaking specifically to the Small Upper Jaw's, Polli, Palmas, Retropinnis, and Delhezi.

Dwarf Pikes or Upside Down Catfish, s
Cichlids are risky with bichirs from my experience but it may be possible with those 2 species. The issue may be feeding my senegals are slower to getting food than a cichlid.
