I have no experience with pike cichlids. The thread below may help until others with experience chime in.i might be able to get a group of zebrina 3-4" in size, can i house them as a group in a 220 gallon, or will they kill each other like the xingu.
Hi Jib, long time no talk. I never kept Zebrina with other Zebrina but I have kept them with multiple other fish including other pike and IME they were very peaceful. I've also seen pics of groups of Zebrina and saw no torn fins or other damage. Mine was over 12 inches when I rehomed him and was still peaceful. You can see in the video he was safely comm'd with Geos, Pearsei, Endli Bichir and there was some Tocantin pikes as well and they all cohabitated peacefully for me.i might be able to get a group of zebrina 3-4" in size, can i house them as a group in a 220 gallon, or will they kill each other like the xingu.

Your welcome bro, it's nice seeing you post. And I feel you. I've been in the same boat but personally the stuff taking up my time was stressful, so I started making time here and with the hobby so I could decompress and reenergize for the other stuff.Hey Jason,
Yeah its been quite a while, since i posted here anything, still in the hobby just not enough time.
Thank you very much for the input
Thanks, they're at least in my experience peaceful for Crenicihla. I never had any issues with aggression between it and it's tankmates and it had peaceful tankmates such as Geos and Severums. When I get more tanks setup I'd like to keep them again as well as some Crenicichla macrophtalma.koltsixx Post 3. Think I just said wow out loud, this fish is so beautiful to me.
