I purchased this product late 90's forgot all about it.
Used it during my saltwater so called reef keeping days. The distiller absolutely works.
I actually buy distilled water for the our Shark Steamer mop. The plan is to decrease my GH in the 45 gallon. I talked to a young man who keeps a saltwater reef setup and told me a rodi system is not worth running and he actually uses tap water for wc's.
I'm missing the part that holds the small carbon pouch.

Most marine aquarists steer clear of distillers because they often use copper or aluminum coils. Don't know much about this other than secondhand. Might want to check the coil composition.

Thanks for the info. I don't want to risk killing the cherry shrimp. I think I'll be putting the distiller back in storage.
