I’m wondering as I have a 4ft by 5ft tank about 40cm deep/tall and was wondering if I could house one for life or weather I would have to upgrade in the future?

Either a jardini or an asianWhich type of arowana?
Welcome aboardcould house one for life or weather I would have to upgrade in the future?
What tank size would you recommend for a full grown arrow, I quite enjoy to squarish look to the tank. Would a 6ft by 6ft be sufficient?Welcome aboard
That size aquarium would be a growout for a small arowana of any species. Upgrade will be needed.
Yes for a Asian or Jardini.Would a 6ft by 6ft be sufficient?
I keep my golden crossback Asian in a 96x32x32, 420 gallon (soon to be upgraded), but some of my friends keep there Asians in 96x24x24, 240 gallon and there perfectly happy and healthy, in my humble opinion a 96x24x24, 240 gallon is the minimum for a golden Asian, a super red would require a larger home as they get bigger then golden aro's in general, not all of the time, but most of the time, I've never had a jardini so can't comment on them, I've only ever had Asians personally. What tank size would you recommend for a full grown arrow, I quite enjoy to squarish look to the tank.
