Definite under rated. So fun to keep. I treat them like kois and kept outdoors in direct sun all year around. Water temp currently (Summer) is quite warm. I'm located in Southern California.

What is their winter tolerance for temps? Can they survive under ice like koi can?

Thanks. The HiFin are in another pond. This pond is 30" deep and in direct sunlight. Water temp is too warm for HiFin.
