Hell yeah! Your sump is bigger than most people’s tanks! Hahaha

what are you doing for the windows and the liner? Does it go between the window and the block?

Pvc liner sealed and taped straight to 1" acrylic.

Running with a temporary submersible pump. Have to run 2 more 2" drains from the sump before I can run the external pump. Almost 1/3 full, 4 large male rays in already, had to get them away from my biggest female. They tore her up good in the temp pool.20240805_164530.jpg20240805_164514.jpg20240805_164442.jpg

Very nice! I'm guessing that's downstairs in your house. Will humidity be an issue? Very cool project. Thanks for sharing w/ pics.

you just taped and "sealed " the liner to the plexi? Technology or sealants must have come along way on the last 5 years!!
Can't wait to see it all done! Want to come to AZ and rinse and repeat? lol

3 liners, 3 beads of ms300, which is not recommended for plastics, but seemed to stick decent with all surfaces scuffed and primed and 4" gorilla waterproof tape from liners to acrylic over top. I've used gorilla wp tape on multiple builds before and never had it fail. Had liners fail, but not the tape seals. I'm very confident with the seal. Fingers crossed. And Arizona's too hot for me man and I'll never do this much work for the rest of my life hopefully. Lol

I don't want to be a nay sayer.....but..... I made my first 5000 gallon pond the same way with cinder block filled with concrete. As soon as it was 3/4 filled the walls were bowing out and the leaks started. I instantly switched to poured concrete ( 8" thick). You may also want to think about 3/4" tempered glass. I would be concerned about acrylic that is only an inch thick. I hope I'm wrong and this works for you. It looks like you are doing a very nice job.n

I just reread that you are using liners... I didn't I used a sealant.... so your liners should help with stability .
