I can’t tell but it does looks more like dusty than micro bubbles. You could try a product like Seachem Clarity or Fritz Clarifier.

i honestly cant even remember what i put in the bottom layer of both my fx6s, ill check it out and report.
I had a issue with my FX6 blowing the micro bubbles the problem was i had a sponge in the very bottom of the tray it was very fine i forgot what grade but it had a lot of small holes in it if held up to light you could see light thru it i broke it down and added the blue sponge from Fluval and they stopped

Ive seen this before years ago and its a protozoan just barely visible with the naked eye.
what you can do is do an extra water change or two and feed every other day for a while. Its from an over abundance of nutrients (usually from over feeding). that should clear it up. that will get the numbers down and the tank should clear up
I already feed bi weekly and I WC 50-70% every week

do those solutions have a genuine effect? Does anyone know what it actually does scientifically? Ill try though but I'm also looking for a permanent fix that doesn't include a solution additive in my tank.

Thank you for contacting us. The following case has been created. Kindly use these case details for future reference.

Subject: General Inquiry
Description:
my fluval fx6 and fx4 have been kicking up many tiny micro particles and bubbles. Ive been talking to many others on this issue and they've said that fluval provides FX series lid replacements without the long downspout for free to individuals who own FX series filters. I was wondering if i could get sent 2 fx series lids for my fx6 and fx4 to fix my micro particle issue.

We thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Sorry to hear this is happening, the lid would have nothing to do with micro bubbles or particles, both of those issues have a different fix to them, the micro particles can be remedied with placing quick clear (see link below) in the filter and the micro bubbles can come from excess air being sucked in or produced in the filter, please provide pictures of the setup so we can review,

If you can please send:

Picture of the whole tank and filter setup

Picture of the hoses going into the tank

Picture of the hoses coming out of the filter

Picture of the label behind the motor head

this is what Fluval responded with, problem is that I run the polishing pads and the maximum clear blue pads but it still has this issue.

I’ve used it a couple times when I was lazy with pre-rinsing sand. I’m not a fan of chemicals but yes it did work help to bind the small particulate matter together so the filter pads could catch them.

My 2 cents, the filter sponge on your bottom try is too fine. How long has this been going on? What is quick clear? where's the link?
probably for as long as i’ve had this tank, just recently i decided wanted to strive for that no water look with the water clear. i think my tank water is already extremely clean and clear but there are just micro particles
