Why do we think this is a male? This is a male I own at the same size.

You can see a distinct different coloration when mature. In addition, this batch consisted of 6 fish. 4 males and 2 females. Dominant male came after thee three little brothers. The three little brothers I fished out before it got deadly and raised them in the sump. I’m keeping one of the little bros, sold one, and have this one for sale. The dominant male is now the in the display with the two females, and a third female I had from an earlier batch.
