Hi, thanks for checking this out. So I’m trying to help my brother setup a 140 gallon custom bow front tank. It’s 12”on sides and 18” in middle, 40” high, and 50” in length.
It’s bottom drilled and has a single built in 6”x6”overflow box in back left corner with a single hole at the tank bottom. There are 3 additional bottom holes across rest of tank. (Pics included)
Trying to figure how best to setup 2 canister filters (FX6 and fx4)using the existing holes for both water in and out, and preferably pulling water from overflow for one and tank bottom drain for other.
I want to find and include a separate easily removeable / changeable pre filter (to remove solids before canisters, other than a sponge filter over the drains). Also a uv sterilizer I could run inline to eradicate green water as well as algae growth on rocks etc.
this is for a freshwater setup.
