My F2 SRD is showing a pimple thingy on his tail...can anyone help with a remedy... I have my Flowerhorn in a 48 x 15 x 18

Does it look like a white knot? If so it might just be a broken ray. One of my large parrots has a similar looking white bump on her tail for nearly 3 years.

Nothing to do at all. It's ok. Sometimes fish damage rays (from fighting or deco) on the fins and the knot is like scar tissue. My parrot Kong still sports hers smack in the middle of her tail. I think rays might be some kind of cartilage.
Some fish just have them anyway. No worse than a torn fingernail on a human. You can monitor it, but if it never changes no harm no foul.
