Crayfish tank size

What species? I 10 gallon, in my opinion, is the smallest tank I would keep P. Alleni.
And that’s for 1x not 6x if P. Alleni. Also a 50 gallon I’d say could house maybe 3x crays depending on the amount of decor.

Also based on what others say, I agree on secure lids. I’ve used towels to cover any holes and gaps on tank lids for many species. I’ve also kept two species of Crayfish at separate times in my 55 gallon tank over the years, and it never attacked any fish in those tanks, it was actually the fish that end up attacking the Crayfish.

I dont use crappy lids, sir. All of mine can clamp shut. Why would a lid be floppy? Defeats the whole purpose of a lid.

I have secure lids, I just use towels to cram into tiny gaps where tubing and wires come out of, or where a filter sits. I have a towel covering two tanks right now, and I haven’t got any escapes fortunately.
