I kept my Mikula frontosa in the predator hap & peacock tank shown in the attached video. You will notice the Malawi fish all jostling around continually, but taking zero interest in the Mikula. He’s just cuzin around like there’s no one else there. He is about 10” in this vid a little over a year ago, but I grew him from 1.5” over the last 4 years. He would be better with the haps but not necessarily unless your water parameters are different in the hap tank, or the JD’s start to bully her.
Give it as much tank space as you can. Keep your water clean and fed your new friend well with a high quality carnivore pellets and she’ll do great!
