Suggestion on top dweller

Hello,

I am looking for a top/mid dweller for my tank. I currently have three Florida gars and a loads of shrimps (clean crew)

Any suggestions is most welcomed on a fish, that is friendly enough to gars and have no interest in hunting small shrimps.

Ive been looking at perhaps a silver arowana.

i would say that the arowana would eat any shrimp it could get in its mouth, especially if they drifted upwads in the tank

Look at the freshwater butterfly / african butterfly, i loved keeping these

If you're aquarium is large enough the arowana with the Florida gars would work. I think the African Butterfly Fish will be eaten by the gars.
